The Division of Corporate Communication, in collaboration with various schools and colleges of Walailak University, organized the “Walailak to School” event at Petcharik Demonstration School. The aim was to create networks, connect with high school students, and introduce the programs of Walailak University.
380 students from grades 10 to 12 participated in the event. Attendees include Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University; Dr. Kanop Ketchart, Mayor of Nakhon Si Thammarat; Dr. Suchart Iadwong, Principal of Petcharik Demonstration School; Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President of Walailak University; Associate Professor Dr. Charun Bunyakan, Vice President of Walailak Univeristy; along with lecturers, teachers, and staff.
On this occasion, President Sombat Thamrongthanyawong talked about the development and successes of Walailak University and delivered a keynote lecture titled Aiming Towards Goals Ambitiously: How to Study Successfully and Happily for students. Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod gave a talk titled Skills in Teaching English for Excellence on a Global Scale, and shared tips for learning English effectively.
The event also featured booths and exhibitions from lecturers and university students, providing knowledge in various areas.
