On November 5, 2025, the Division of Corporate Communication (DCC) of Walailak University, by the News and Digital Communication Department, coordinated an interview with Associate Professor Dr. Krisanadej Jaroensutasinee, Director of the Center of Excellence for Ecoinformatics. Dr. Krisanadej shared his expertise with ThaiPBS, Thailand’s leading public broadcasting service, discussing the ongoing ecological crisis in the Pak Phanang River Basin. He highlighted the deterioration of the region’s ecosystem, which has been exacerbated by the spread of water hyacinths, and emphasized the importance of sustainable management and collaborative efforts in addressing the crisis.
