The Division of Corporate Communications, WU Joining the exhibition in the University PR Network Expo 2022 at Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok
Walailak University represented by the Division of Corporate Communication and Center for Educational services organized an exhibition in KNOW ME MORE: University PR Network Expo 2022 from 24 to 25 June 2022 at Dr.Saroj Buasri innovation building. Asst. Prof. Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh, Acting Assistant to President, Walailak University, with team of staff from the Division of Corporate Communication, Walailak University and student representatives joined the event to set up public relation booth for Walailak University. The aim was to showcase the university’s curriculums, academic achievements, research and innovation through media on display. The booth received positive response from the event attendees including students, teachers and parents. Besides exhibition booth, each university’s representatives, both staff and students, were allocated time to present the university on stage. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somchai Santiwatanakul, President of Srinakharinwirot University presided the opening ceremony with representatives from partner university network of 8 institutions partaking in the exhibition.
The KNOW ME MORE: University PR Network Expo 2022, designed as a proactive public relation campaign was organized to communicate the image and information of the university in all aspects including educational programs, academic results, research results, innovations, as well as useful information involved in admission decisions. Contributing to the exhibition were 8 institutions in the partner network: Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Walailak University, Burapha University, Thaksin University, Mahasarakham University, Naresuan University, University of Phayao and Srinakharinwirot University, host university. In relation to the expected outcomes, the target audience comprised teacher-counselors, students in various schools, parents and the press. The event was expecting the daily turn-out of at least 1,000 participants from senior secondary schools in the Bangkok and metropolitan areas, interested public, out of a total of 4,900 registered names.
In addition, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh, Acting Assistant to President together with Ms. Supanee Phetcharanant, Head of Operation Team for Reception and Image Communication, Division of Corporate Communication participated in discussions on building a network of cooperation in corporate communication at a tertiary level which is one of the exhibition’s highlights. Participants from various universities engaged in sharing of ideas beneficial to corporate communication operations, leading to the lesson being exchanged and learned.
