On 5 March 2024, the Division of Corporate Communication, led by Mr. Theeraphong Nooplod, Head of News and Digital Communication, and Ms. Chonthicha Limpiti, Administrative Officer, attended Journalist Day 2024, also known as National Media Day 2024, at Ravadee Hotel, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
The event, organized by the Nakhon Si Thammarat Mass Media Association, aimed to foster unity among industry insiders and provide a platform for building strong relationships within the media community. Participants were honored by Mr. Sritam Ratchakaew, the Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat, to preside over the event. In attendance were also Mr. Yutthana Taengwong, President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Mass Media, and Mr. Surachet Raekrun, President of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Journalist Association.
The program included insightful talks on The Role of Media in Finding Solutions for Drug Addiction and Social Inspection in the Online Social Media Era, and featured an awards presentation to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations with exemplary public spirit for the year 2024.
