On April 20, 2024, the Division of Corporate Communication (DCC) at Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh, Assistant to the President overseeing DCC, and Mr. Teerapong Nooplod, Head of the News and Digital Communication Department, welcomed media representatives from Nakhon Si Thammarat and Bangkok to cover the official handover of the Srithammaracha Building to Walailak University. General Piboon Khumchaya, a member of the Privy Council, presided over the ceremony to hand over the building, which was constructed as a royal offering in honor of His Majesty the King’s 72nd birthday this year. Mr. Sonthiyan Chuenruthainaitham, chairman of the Srithammaracha Foundation, presented the building to Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Wuthisuthimethavee, Vice President of WU. Media outlets, including NBT Nakhon Si Thammarat, radio stations, Mcot Nakhon Si Thammarat, and the Government Public Relations Department Nakhon Si Thammarat, were present at the event.
