The Division of Corporate Communication (DCC) at Walailak University organized a seminar in Krabi Province from July 31 to August 1, 2024. This seminar was based on the university’s 20-year strategic plan, aiming to develop personnel capacity.
The goal was to help participants adapt and grow in their careers, develop their skills, improve work processes, and enhance teamwork among staff. All fifteen staff members from the division’s four departments participated in the event.
On July 31, participants shared and exchanged ideas under the theme “Development of Corporate Communication Towards a High-performance Organization” at Kholuang Chamber, Cooperative Education Building. During the sharing session, Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President of WU, emphasized the importance of media in creating the university’s image and underlined the university’s efforts in promoting internationalization, aligning with the university’s mission.
In the afternoon, DCC members traveled to Red Ginger Chic Resort, a resort in Krabi Province that received the ASEAN Green Hotel Standard from the Department of Tourism in 2024. The members learned about waste separation and raising black soldier flies for waste decomposition.
On August 1, the staff attended a meeting to plan work for the next fiscal year and reflect on how each department can improve work efficiency. They also exchanged experiences in working with the Government Public Relations Department in Krabi Province.
