The Division of Corporate Communication, Walailak University, is working with both local media in Nakhon Si Thammarat and national media to provide extensive coverage of the 41st Thailand University Personnel Games (Tumpang Games), which will take place from May 3–10, 2025. This initiative aims to highlight the university’s role as the host while capturing the spirit of competition and camaraderie among over 7,000 athletes from 63 higher education institutions nationwide.
Staff from four departments – News and Digital Communication, Media and Information Production, Reception and Image Communication, and General Administration – are working with the media to ensure comprehensive coverage across multiple platforms. This includes news articles, interviews, and multimedia content to reach audiences both regionally and nationwide.
By strengthening ties with the media, the university seeks to maximize the visibility of the Tumpang Games, promote sports excellence, and showcase Walailak University’s international-standard sports facilities and organizational capabilities. Additionally, the event is expected to boost economic activity in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, further underscoring its significance beyond the sporting arena.
