On 23 July 2025, the Division of Corporate Communication, in collaboration with the Division of Student Support and Development, hosted a promotional booth for the Walailak Channel Rising Star 2025 project. The initiative aims to identify and nurture talented students to join the university’s media production team. The booth was part of the Student Activities Fair, held at Walailak Square.
The event was filled with excitement and enthusiasm, and the project drew significant interest from first-year students. Former Rising Star participants were also present to offer friendly guidance and share their experiences.
During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Urai Jaraeprapal, Vice President, and Assistant Professor Dr. Arthit Boonrodchu, Assistant to the President, visited the booth to offer encouragement and support to the team.
The Walailak Channel Rising Star project aims to develop students’ communication and media production skills while preparing the next generation of student content creators to contribute to Walailak University’s public relations efforts. Through this initiative, Walailak University continues to empower students to discover their potential, build practical skills, and play an active role in shaping the university’s image both on campus and beyond.
