On 29 December 2025, Walailak University, led by Dr. Mongkol Teerananond, Vice President for University Relations and Development, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh, Assistant to the President overseeing the Division of Corporate Communication, Assistant Professor Dr. Arthit Boonrodchu, Assistant to the President for Operations and Safety, and Ms. Supanee Phetcharanant, Head of Reception and Corporate Image Communication, Division of Corporate Communication, paid a courtesy visit and extended New Year greetings on the occasion of the 2026 New Year to Mr. Somchai Leelanoi, Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
