DCC on Tour with RIIE

The Division of Corporate Communication (DCC) at Walailak University has joined hands with the Research and Innovation Institute of Excellence (RIIE) to strengthen collaboration in communicating and promoting the university’s research reputation to the public through news stories and the Walailak Research and Innovation short documentary program.

The collaboration was discussed during the DCC on Tour: Communicate and Create WU 2/2026 activity, held on 10 February 2026 at the 19-seat meeting room, Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development.

Assistant Professor Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh, Assistant to the President for Corporate Communication, together with DCC staff, met with representatives from the Research and Innovation Institute of Excellence, led by Acting Director Associate Professor Dr. Wichitpan Rongwong, to exchange ideas and explore approaches for disseminating research-related news more effectively.

During the session, both teams introduced their roles and missions in supporting the university’s operations. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in publicizing research and innovation outcomes through various communication channels, including news articles, digital media, and short documentary videos. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on the use of university branding and collaboration with national news agencies to ensure consistent and impactful public relations.

This initiative reflects Walailak University’s commitment to enhancing the visibility of its research and innovation achievements and ensuring that academic knowledge is communicated clearly and meaningfully to society.
