DCC on Tour Visits College of Graduate Studies
The Division of Corporate Communications (DCC) at Walailak University held the third session of its 2026 “DCC on Tour: Communicate and Create WU” initiative, meeting with the College of Graduate Studies to exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration in communication and public relations for graduate education.

The session took place on April 7, 2026, in Meeting Room AD 3411, Architecture and Design Building, with Associate Professor Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, along with faculty members and staff, joining the discussion.

During the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Phongpichit shared the College’s strategic direction for student recruitment, which focuses on increasing both the number and quality of graduate students while advancing the internationalization of academic programs. He emphasized the importance of effective communication in promoting graduate education and highlighted key strengths of Walailak University, including highly qualified faculty, strong research output, and a comprehensive student support system designed to help students successfully complete their studies within the expected timeframe.

The discussion also helped both units better understand each other’s roles and explore collaborative approaches to communicating the university’s graduate education mission. The Dean expressed his appreciation to the DCC team for visiting the College and sharing valuable insights to support future communication efforts.

On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh, Assistant to the President for Corporate Communications, outlined the role of DCC in supporting the university’s communication and public relations strategies to strengthen Walailak University’s overall image and reputation. She noted that the meeting allowed the DCC team to gain deeper insight into the College’s role as a key unit responsible for overseeing graduate education and contributing to important university performance indicators.

DCC staff—including members from the Reception and Corporate Image Communication Section, the News and Digital Communication Section, and the Media and Informatics Production Section—also joined the discussion to explore ways to collaborate on communication strategies. The conversation focused on highlighting the university’s academic strengths, the quality of its faculty, and the distinctive features of graduate education at Walailak University.

The College of Graduate Studies, which already produces its own information and promotional materials, can further collaborate with DCC by utilizing the university’s main communication channels, developing digital media content, and promoting notable stories through mass media.
