Walailak University submits to the THE Impact Rankings continuing on the path towards sustainability

On Tuesday, 9th November 2021, Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University submitted the 2nd THE Impact Rankings at Khao Luang Chamber, Cooperative Education Building. The submission was witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President for Global Engagement and Faculty Development, Assistant Prof. Dr. Patnarin Supakorn, Acting Director of Center for International Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. David Harding, a former Deputy Director of Center for International Affairs.

The 2nd submission of THE Impact Rankings of Walailak University consisted of the best selected SDG evidences in the following 9 areas: SDG2: Zero Hunger, SDG3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG4: Quality Education, SDG6: Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG14: Life Below Water, and SDG17: Partnerships for the Goals. The 2 new SDGs for this 2nd THE Impact Rankings submission include SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG12: Responsible Consumption and Production.  THE Impact Rankings will release the impact ranking results in April 2022.
