Division of Corporate, Walailak University, organizes “the 1st MC training: Grooming new generations of WU MCs”

Walailak University led by the Division of Corporate Communication organizes the 1st MC Training: Grooming New Generations of the WU MCs”. The training was aimed to train those interested in being a master of ceremony (MC) to learn the fundamental and advanced approaches to being a professional MC in both informal and formal events.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh, Acting Assistant to President, Walailak University, presided over the event and gave an opening speech emphasizing the Division of Corporate Communication’s aim to train corporate MCs in order to host events in their departments. The training took place between 25-26 August 2022, Rabiangban Meeting Room 1, the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media, Walailak University.

Over 30 attendees from different schools and departments in Walailak University joined the training divided into the morning and afternoon sessions featuring topics including the basic techniques, advanced techniques detailing the Dos and Don’ts for professional MCs. The session was led by Ms. Janejira Phumduang from Division of Corporate Communication, an expert MCs with professional MC certificate and experiences in hosting over 600 events. Besides the lecture session, each of the 30 attendees got an opportunity to put to practice all the theories they have learned regarding script writing, speech preparation techniques and other basics rules. Joining the training was also Dr. Sukhuman Klamsaengsai, Lecturer of School of Management, Walailak University, giving a talk on “Personality Development for Professional MC” session.

The Division of Corporate Communication is committed to its mission of communicating the corporate’s image through productions and generation of media, and sharing knowledge through a wide range of trainings and workshops on skills required for effective communication such as Master of Ceremony, digital content creation, university ambassador trainings and other events oriented toward professional image communications.
