Walailak University’s Division of Human Resources and Organization organized an orientation for new employees on 25 April 2023, at Srithammarat Meeting Room, Architecture and Design Building, Walailak University. The orientation aimed to provide new personnel with knowledge and understanding of the university’s policies, visions, missions, aspirations, management guidelines, and development, as well as information about work practices, employee rights, and welfare.
The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University, who delivered a talk on Result-based Management: Supervising, Tracking, and Advancing Innovative Work Methods. This was followed by a talk on Human Resource Management, Ethical Principles, and Employee Code of Conduct by Associate Professor Dr. Warit Jawjit, Acting Vice President of Walailak University, and a presentation on Welfare and Benefits by Ms. Somporn Boonkiatedechakul, Acting Head of the Division of Corporate Communication.
Two new members of the Division of Corporate Communication, Mr. Natthawut Piwnimnuan and Mr. Settaboot Onphakdee, also participated in the orientation. “Orientation is essential for new employees as it allows them to know more about the university’s direction, meet new colleagues, and learn about the welfare and benefits provided to them,” said Mr. Settaboot.
