Walailak University Corporate Communications Staff Wins Best Paper Award at National R2R 2026 Conference

Ms. Chonthicha Limpiti, News and Digital Communications Officer at the Division of Corporate Communications, Walailak University, received the Best Paper Award in the Guidance and Public Relations category for her research entitled “Effectiveness of News Dissemination through Mass Media Analyzation: A Case Study of Walailak University” at the National Routine to Research (R2R) Support Staff Network Conference 2026. The conference was held from May 28–29, 2026, at Seapine Beach Golf and Resort, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.

The National R2R Support Staff Network Conference 2026 was organized through the collaboration of all nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology, with Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi serving as the host institution. The conference provided a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in academic support and registration services, while also offering support staff and researchers an opportunity to present their research and creative works across a wide range of disciplines.

The event brought together academics, researchers, and support personnel from more than 20 universities nationwide. A total of 60 papers were presented across 10 conference tracks: Academic Support Services, Registration Systems, Educational Quality Assurance, Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education, Information Systems, Student and Alumni Development, Guidance and Public Relations, Research and Innovation Promotion, Legal Affairs and Human Resource Development, and Organizational Management and Related Areas.

The Best Paper Award is presented to the highest-quality and most outstanding research paper in each conference track, with a total of 10 awards conferred. Recipients were selected through a rigorous evaluation process conducted by a panel of distinguished experts and the conference committee. The award serves as a testament to the quality and national-level recognition of the research. The award was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Suwut Tumthong, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi.

This achievement is not only a source of pride for the researcher but also reflects the capability and commitment of the Division of Corporate Communications at Walailak University in transforming routine work into research. The findings from the study will contribute to enhancing the University’s communication strategies and improving the effectiveness of its news dissemination efforts, enabling the University to engage its target audiences more effectively.
